Well yesterday I was really sore after the run on Friday. My legs ached and my left knee hurt, but I did plenty of stretches and foam rolling and that helped loads.
Today I did a run up to the gym from home - just over 2 miles. Thats it now, no more running until the event. A gentle swim or gym workout maybe.
So a week of rest and eating well in front of me!
